Title: Rules Clarification Question
Post by: Sk8ing Wizard on June 04, 2011, 04:46:59 PM
Hi. I'm competing with an Open Juvenile program at a competition in July, which, as far as I know, has the exact same rules as regular Juvenile, just for older kids.

So, I had a quick rules question. It just occurred to me, and my coach will probably be able to answer, but I figured I'd ask. I know that if you repeat a double jump, you have to do one of them in combination. For instance, a double salchow, and then a double salchow-single toe loop combo. However, are you allowed to repeat a double with both times being in combination? For instance, a lutz-side toe hop-double toe sequence, and a salchow-double toe combo?

My jumps right now are:
2 axels
Lutz-side toe hop-double toe
double salchow
double salchow-double toe

Would this be allowed or do I need to switch the second double toe to a single?

yes, you can do them both in combination so long as at least one is.

OK, thank you very much.
