Title: What was it like for you to transition to being a Competitor?

Ok...I'm not really sure if transition WOULD be the right word. As I'm not really sure what you WOULD transition FROM. But presuming that it is,and that a skater does...the question today is...what was it like for you to transition to being a competitive Skater?
