Costs at a pro shop?
« on: January 20, 2015, 01:22:48 AM »
So, I recently made an impulsive purchase and bought a brand new pair of skates on sale (not so super certain it was a good idea anymore.. :S so nervous they won't fit!).

They're still waiting to be shipped but when I get them I want to have them heat molded and maybe punched if needed. Does anyone know how much a pro shop would charge for these services?

Our local store charges $20 to heat boots but not sure if that includes punching out if required.

Our shops are $10 to sharpen, $20-30 to heat mold, and anywhere from $8-20 to punch out/stretch etc. depending on how many spots.

Did you order them through that shop?  If so, I don't think they should charge you!
