FigureSpins:
I saw these videos today and thought, "that looks like fun!"

Looks like a fun skating challenge!  What do you think?

There's this, too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AS5NQUD-0M

When I used to skate at the roller rink on PIC skates, some of the quad skaters would get into a line and "jam" around the rink as shown in your last video.

I didn't do those, although I did participate in one of the snaking line dances on skates where alternating side kicks were involved. Can't remember the name of the "dance" now, but the announcer would clear the floor for just the participants.

There were some fun activities at the roller rink that weren't a part of typical ice skating culture. It was much more of a social environment.

Query:
It used to be that you could sometimes walk around dangerous areas by talking to yourself, because no one wants to bother a crazy person - they aren't sure what you are going to do.

But now that cell phones with ear-mounted headsets are common, that's not crazy enough.

Maybe dance walking is.

Back when they were deep into freestyle skiing and snowboarding, my son and his friends used to do what they called "freestyle walking", where they would walk along and use terrain features to do tricks.  Curbs, jersey barriers, walls...anything was fair game.  They would video it and see who had done the best tricks.  It was pretty entertaining.
