Has anyone tried Skater's Edge in Manhattan? How is their sharpening and their merchandise?

If you have to sharpen in Manhattan go to Westside Skate.  I would NOT let them sharpen at Skater's Edge.  They are hockey guys and admittedly no little about figure skates/ing.

I go to NJ to my fitter.

I second West Side Skate.  I skate at Sky Rink so Skater's Edge would be much more convenient but it's worth the trip to West Side Skate.

Thanks a lot for this! I was seriously considering Skater's Edge because it's near Sky Rink...but I'll just go to West Side instead.
