Klingbeil's new Freedom boot for $275
« on: March 31, 2014, 04:45:41 PM »
I saw these on Klingbeil's website. They are made in China (stamp on the inside says in the photo) and have a price to match. For a recreational ex-serious mom like myself, this sounds like a great way to get a skate which will work for me.  Has anyone had experience with this boot? I just can't fathom dropping another $1200 on skates for me when my daughter has just started skating and she will likely continue.

Why not go for the Jackson Freestyles which are about the same price and decent quality vs taking a chance on something made in China? I LEARNED my lesson the hard way, when I went with crummy and the BLADES sucked the boots were OKAYISH.

Whatever you get, make sure you try them on first.
