A new online video training has launched, Online Skate School.

http://www.onlineskateschool.com

The first 100 members to register for the UK site receive free membership and access to five free videos.  The monthly early bird subscription rate is £4.99, which won't go up.

They also have a youtube channel with some getting-started videos.

I've registered and subscribed to this site now, and I must say, it's pretty good. It covers, I believe, all the Skate UK elements, and then goes onto more advanced stuff. I watched the waltz jump one and will be trying some of the techniques at my next practice - I currently step round rather than jump it so hopefully this will get me flying (or falling, ya know, that's a possibility too!)
Started lessons again: 6/11/2012
Currently working on Skate UK Level 8, and beginning to enter the world of ice dance :)

I just watched their freebie Canasta Tango video and I really liked the methodology.  Somehow, the counting clicked for me, moreso than it does with the music.  Kudos.
