ISI Manual

DD let her friend borrow the isi book...6 months ago!   Since it is 2010, should I just go and get the new one?  Are there changes in the new one?  Or is the old still usable?

The 2010 ISI Rulebooks are being sold out at bargain basement prices, so I would guess that there will be a new edition for 2012, with all of the updates included.
" Put all of our dreams and wishes into these Twin Tails;
Just like how we live by our streaming hair;
With Red Courage;
And Blue Love;
And Yellow Hope to draw strength from ...."

I'm Ponytails, a Twin Tail.
When I transform and take the ice, I shout," TAILS ON " !

2012 ISI Test & Competition Revisions

The new 2012 Rule Revisions have been announced. There are two parts to the revisions this year. The Synchronized Competition Revisions are mandatory for all competitions after September 1, 2011. All Competition Directors should inform all participants and judges before their event.

The new 2012 Test & Competition Revisions are optional for ISI competitions from September 1, 2011 and mandatory for all ISI competitions after January 1, 2012. Competition Directors must inform all participants and judges if they will follow these new revisions for competition events between September 1 - December 31, 2011.

The new 2012 ISI Handbook will include all 2012 Rule Revisions. It can be ordered from the ISI office and will be available in December, 2011.

You might want the binder from the old book...assuming the new pages are the same size.

I moved to NC about 2 years ago where there were not many ISI competitions in the area I was coaching , and i think I tossed my ISI manual.  Last summer moved back to Virginia...back to ISI territory...soooo....I am asking if anyone has a used ISI manual that's not too terribly old they would be willing to sell?  Or get rid of?  It's bee a little bit of a tough year financially and I'm just trying to not have to re-purchase one if I don't need to.....

Thanks!

The ISI was selling the 2010/2011 rulebook for $10 because they just issued a new book for 2012 last month.  In less than a month, they have issued several corrections.

Check the version of your current rulebook - if it's 2010, you can just apply the updates.  If not, you can email/call the ISI and ask if you can buy the old rulebook to save a little money.
