Carolina Kostner doping controversy.
« on: December 06, 2014, 12:01:21 AM »
In case there are any people who only read Skatingforums.com, and ignore all other news media, there has been a story for the past week or so , accusing 2014 Olympic Bronze Medalist Carolina Kostner of hiding information about someone in a doping scandal at the Olympics, because she gave inconsistent testimony, and skipped a hearing.

Doping ban requested for skater Carolina Kostner

If they sanction her, it could hurt her career a lot. Even if they don't, the scandal could conceivably hurt her ability to receive money to endorse products. A shame - she gave a beautiful performance at the Sochi Olympics.

I am not expressing an opinion anything related to this one way or another, and the news is now a bit stale. There has been a thread on this at fsuniverse.net. I suggest we avoid bringing the debate here, but some of you guys may still wish to be aware the story is there.
