USFSA Instructors / Coaches Listings
« on: July 29, 2011, 12:33:53 PM »
Since we have so many test and competition chairpeople on this board, I thought it would be helpful to have the links to verify coaches/instructors compliance.  They're currently on three different pages across the USFSA and PSA websites.

Registered Coaches (Basic Skills and above) ... http://www.usfsa.org/Content/web%20report_alpha_2012.pdf

Basic Skills (only) Instructors - 18 or older ... http://www.usfsa.org/Content/201112BSInstructors.pdf

CER Compliance ... http://www.skatepsa.com/CER.htm  (Updated on Mondays, per USFSA)

Tip: if a coach or instructor isn't listed at first glance, use the search feature (CTL-F) to find their last name.
I have a hyphenated name, but our club's website lists me as a coach under my DH's/kids' last name.
I was challenged last year because my maiden name put me in a different part of the alphabetical listing.

The ISI has a directory online that lets you look up a professional member to see their judges' certification level.

(Handy if the Club is hosting a test session/competition and need to assign judges for the higher levels.)

YAY! I passed the background check and am listed!!! HOORAY!!!!!   ;D

(I knew I got my card but I had to pester USFSA to get me switched to under the basic skills, because I registered for the actual coaches registration by mistake and had to get it switched. I never knew if the background check went through or not)

I guess you just clicked the wrong link?   Glad you were able to switch it over.

We've been discussing the two different registrations in the Coaches Lounge since early May, hoping to help members make the right choice.
I'm glad we needed one or the other registration, not both.  At $30+ dollars each, that's pricey.
