Skating Holiday Gifts
« on: September 15, 2013, 10:50:48 AM »
Hello all. First time poster here.

Just saw the first holiday ad of the season, which got me thinking of skating items on my list this year. Was wondering if anyone wanted to share what they were hoping to receive.

Among the items, both realistic and unrealistic ...

- Obviously, I'd love to go to the Olympics, but $20K per person is just ABSURD based on some of these packages. (https://www.cosport.com/olympics/tickethotelpackages.aspx)

- Private coaching with Sasha Cohen would be cool, considering she was the last American skater to pull off a real, not a cookie-cutter program. R+J in 06, even with the falls, was so beautiful. (http://www.thuzio.com/sasha-cohen.html)

- U.S. Figure Skating had a Charitybuzz auction to attend Champs Camp, which I'm sure went for a lot of money. That would have been amazing.

- Still trying to figure out if this fur coat was worn by Johnny Weir, or the same one Johnny wore .... http://www.ebay.com/itm/ASHER-LEVINE-Blue-Iris-Mink-Hooded-Coat-Sz-S-6000-JOHNNY-WEIR-/380714923743?pt=US_CSA_WC_Outerwear&hash=item58a460b6df

I know all of these fall into the fantasy category, but man ... if I had $$$.

Small items used & needed most!   New stockings or skating pants are always in need!   Gloves & years supply of tissues.  Another jacket.  I-tune gift cards.

Big item?  A summer skating camp!
