I always wonder how many people actually listen to the lyrics of "Tango de Roxanne" and understand what it's about...

It's why I prefer the instrumental. Also, Ewan MacGregor is quite nice looking and a decent actor but please don't sing.

I've listened to some and just been aghast.


Plus, all I can ever hear when I hear the tune for Santa Baby is the far superior version, Felipe Baby.

An instrumental version is how that tango was intended - Tanguera by Mariano Mores (who died this past April).

The 2001 Moulin Rouge movie grafted the lyrics onto the music in everyone's mind forever, but it was originally purely instrumental. That's how I'd skate to it - if I were good enough.
