The Madison Area YMCA is offering ice skating classes with two-time Olympian figure skater and World Medalist JoJo Starbuck of Madison.

Starbuck will guide participants through ice skating skills, from beginner through intermediate levels. Classes will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Nov. 22 at the Twin Oaks Skating Rink at 65 Columbia Road in Morris Township.

YMCA members who wish to register for Starbuck’s personalized instruction class may do so online at www.madisonareaymca.org or in person at the YMCA Family Center, 111 Kings Road.

Open registration will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, in-person only at the YMCA.

All participants must bring their own skates.

The 10-week class is listed as an Adult class in their current schedule (http://www.madisonymca.org/uploadfiles/Y_Late_Fall_2011_Guide_FINAL.pdf). 
Cost $300 members/$350 non-members.
