Skaters Landing has a number of useful guides on their website.  Everything from selecting skates/boots/blades to sizing, including the elusive "what length blade for a size () boot?"

To be honest I thought that the title of this thread was "Skater's Landing Glides" and I thought, "Oh yes, I like to see a nice glide out of a landing!"
