Harlics vs. SP Teri's next time around...
« on: January 27, 2012, 07:15:08 PM »
Okay, I fully trust Harlick and have used them reliably in the past.  I have very narrow / bony feet and have loved my customs.  I am going to have to start saving for my next pair.

It's just that they are sooo expensive, and I was looking recently at someone's SP Teri's and they were very nice looking and similar looking to Harlicks and I bet their customs may be better priced.  But i have had such bad luck with another custom brand in the past (Klingbeils....they were comfortable, but just never fit quite right), that I am not sure I want to venture any into another brand...yet, the lower price possibility entices me....

any opinions?

Harlick's customs are worst-case $685 with the basic custom options, right? And Klings are - at their store - $649, correct?  So, how much are SpTeris?

Pretty sure custom SP Teri's start at about $650, but the features add up fast.  When I was looking at them a couple of years ago with everything I wanted I was looking at closer to $750... it's part of why I went with Jackson.

Well, if the prices are that similar, perhaps I'll just stick with Harlicks....

better start saving...

I'd watch their Facebook page; apparently there was a 10% discount offered in Nov or Dec for Friends of Harlick or some such, or, that's what I found on their website ....
