Love, love, love. Pretty much all I wear now, though they are a bit pricey. I throw them in a delicates bag and put in the washing machine on gentle. Hang dry, of course. I have had no problems with them holding up - no runs, no over stretching. On one, a couple of stitches came put of the waistband, but that was it. They may seem a bit thicker than you are used to, but they don't feel like it at all. I prefer the footed tights, but also have a couple of OTB for competitions.

Funny, I was going to start a thread about these tights the other night and then didn't. Twizzler, you read my mind.

Someone said in another thread the Rainbo tights were dark. Are they darker than the light tan Mondors?

Yes, they are darker and thicker then Mondor tights. I liked that they are thicker but I think the color is too dark for my very fair daughter. Another skater wore footed tights and commented that she thought they were slippery compared to Mondor tights. I miss Danskin tights. They held up very well IMO. My daughter loved them too.

The Rainbo tights are absolutely fabulous. I only have one pair but they're my favourite pair - so comfortable (especially at the waistband), so stretchy, so smooth. Too orangey for competition wear (I have some Mondors for that), but so nice to wear! And yep, a delicates bag in the washing machine and you're right as rain.

I agree the Danskins were great, I have two pairs of Danskins that I bought in February last year, they are still wearable though one has a run and the other has completely lost its elastic.

My only current gripe is that Rainbo seem to have changed their shipping options so now you can't get any less than Priority International if you live overseas. Which, for two pairs of tights, was $38. Absolutely ridiculous. I paid anyway because I love the tights and need more, but I made sure to tack an irritated note onto the order. The first time I ordered a pair of tights from Rainbo (only last year!), I chose regular mail and paid only $17 for two pairs.
"Three months in figure skating is nothing. Three months is like 5 minutes in a day. 5 minutes in 24 hours - that's how long you've been working on this. And that's not long at all. You are 1000% better than you were 5 minutes ago." -- My coach

I have a pair of Mondor and Rainbo tights. I can take a picture and post it if you or anyone else wants to see the difference in color. They really are nice.
