I'm watching it instead of the NBC computer feed because it's not stalling and I like the announcers better.  ;-)

Can't resist the "Bob's your uncle," "Cracking!" and other colloquialisms.  Reminds me of Harry Potter a bit.  sigh.

This is really interesting: I'm streaming the Men's LP via my computer and the camera angle/announcers match NBC.  Over my iPad via the NBC Live app, it's a different angle and a set of UK-sounding announcers.

Weird, I streamed mine with the web version from nbcolympics.com (well I air played it to the Apple TV in another room) and got the Eurosport announcers for the men's long. I think the only time I ended up with anyone else was the pairs short which had Johnny and Tara and IMO was almost unwatchable for how annoying they were.

I've decided that I'm going to see if I can get the German TV stream for the Ladies final. I'd love to listen to Katerina in German.   If I can't get rid of the announcers, I've decided to go for variety!

TV people in the UK need to remove the word "Brilliant" from their vocabulary!

My favorite is the Russian coverage, because I can't understand them and they usually shut up during the programs.  The worst I ever saw was an Italian commentator.  She kept saying "Plushenko" over and over during the program I was watching, and Plushenko wasn't even in the competition.

Where can I find the judges protocol sheets? Curious to see how this men's event was scored.

I found it here - took a little tiny bit of digging on this site - the protocols are in the area where they list the skaters with what look like their mug shots.

The NBC live seems to be streaming Eurosport.

Which is awesome.

So I'm the only one who was not surprised Plushenko quit? I figured he'd withdraw from the singles before the Olympics even started - no way he was going to be on the podium, and no way he'd compete if he thought he wouldn't win.

I didn't think Brown would have a chance either. He has to skate 2 perfect programs to be close. A quad combo may beat him every time, no matter how much they gift him on the Program Components Score. He's got to work on those under-rotated jumps on the international level.
