Queenstown Ice Arena, Queenstown, New Zealand

Ice quality:  Good at first.  But they didn't cut it during my time there, and it got worse.  Also, they blocked off 1/4 of the rink for stick and puck during a public session, which was odd and a bit annoying.  At least it was an edge and not the center.  Roughly NHL sized.
Building: Very well decorated.  It's got a cylindrical ceiling.  The lighting was great.  The music was tasteful.
Bathrooms:  Good by ice rink standards.
Location:  Very easy to find in the center of the botanic garden.  Parking is fine.   The town is known for skiing and bungee jumping.
Price: 15 NZD= 10 USD, which is quite cheap for Queenstown.  Most activities there cost $200.
Snack bar: Food and alcohol.  Also pleasantly decorated.

Overall:  Worth visiting if you are in the area.
