Thank-you! How far apart should the 3 turn marks be (asuming I'm going fairly slowly over the ice)?

I wouldn't worry so much about the distance itself as much as whether or not the turns are evenly spaced.  You shouldn't have uneven spacing when they're done right even when you are barely moving.
