Sample Exercises from skating-school.com
« on: March 22, 2012, 10:06:40 AM »
I don't know if these are any good - I opened "Warmup #1" subtitled "Simple Stroking Exercise for Warmup" and have to wonder if that's simple, what's complicated?

Enjoy

Um... yeah... I guess the first step into the edge pulls and turns is a "stroke"  ???

The "stroking" part I could let go - an edge pull can be considered a stroke in terms of mobility.

It's the "simple" part that made me go  :o  :o  ???

I was expecting something for low-level skaters, lol.  I guess it might be a language barrier or the exercise was simple for Senior-level skaters and not labeled well.

Truthfully this is what I was thinking when I watched most of them... for someone doing triples these things are in fact "simple".. for anyone who hasn't yet gotten through novice or junior moves, it may as well be impossible :P
