Sy,do you remember your first Competition as a Competitor? If you do...I'd love for you all to post about it. Please include name of Competition,year,and what you placed.

My first competition was the Iowa State Games.  I don't remember the year, or how I placed.  I remember being very stiff and scared, and that my dress was not very attractive.  Afterwards, I was proud of myself for getting through it.  The best part was that my daughter also skated in the competition.  I don't remember how she placed, either.  It doesn't really matter any more anyway.  We had a lot of fun going to competitions together over the years, and made a lot of great memories.
