Title: Marylin House. Still skating at age 92.

Saw this video on FB.  I wonder if I'll be alive at age 92, let alone still skating?  https://www.10tv.com/article/92-year-old-skating-through-her-golden-years

Hmmm - that's one of the Chiller rinks in Columbus in her skating video. I recognize it. The reporter begins the segment talking to the camera at the OSU rink, then switches to the video of her skating at one of the Chillers. While I've skated in Columbus on occasion, I've never seen her before, but I don't spend a lot of time at the Columbus rinks. I need to get out more.

When I skated on PIC inlines at the roller rink, there was a woman in her 80s who skated regularly. She also had hip replacements. Unfortunately she passed away a year ago. I miss seeing her - sometimes she was as ornery as a sailor on leave!

Imagine lacing up when you are in your 80s or beyond...

They show that she authored a skating book (Ice Skating Fundamentals, second ed.) during the recount of her skating career.  I wonder if anyone has that book and can provide a review?  I'm always interested in skating books even if they do tend to plough the same furrow.

After watching the video, I checked my own stash of books last night. I don't have a copy unfortunately.
