this forum (http://www.skatingforum.co.uk) has a look, name and color scheme very similar to ours - are they related?
-
I don't believe so. Also, this forums layout is pretty common.
-
No, they're independent. We use stock templates since Jim pays for hosting and all.
-
Oh. If templates are stock, nothing is stolen... I guess "skatingforum" is a somewhat obvious name to use too.
In any event, they have far fewer discussion threads.

Most members who post on there are in the UK and the number of people who figure skate in the UK is pretty small! NISA has around 5000 members I think. Most people only join NISA to be able to compete / test so this underestimates skater numbers but there still aren't that many of us! ;)

Yet the UK still makes a large fraction of the world's figure skating blades (MK/Wilson), was such a big part of the early figure skating world, and produced truly dominant skaters like Torvill and Dean.
Did NISA used to be a lot bigger? If so, what happened?

No idea if it used to be bigger, sorry!
