Title: mini tramp?
Post by: treesprite on April 03, 2013, 09:25:48 PM
I just remembered the other day, that I have had a mini trampoline, disassembled, in my closet for several years. I'm thinking of taking it out if I can think of some decent way to use it.

So anyone have suggestions for mini tramp exercises geared toward skating? Can more be done on it, safely, than just jumping up and down?

Yep. Great cardiovascular workout when running outside isn't practical, plus easier on the knees. Also good for balance.  Try standing on one leg and tossing a ball up and down for example... Keeping your balance becomes a challenge.

We had one a few years back -- my mother bought it for light cardio, I think. It ended up as a nice comfy seat in front of the TV. Later on, when the trampoline net got holes in it, we started putting the mini tramp on its side and used the legs for hanging stuff. :p

Back to the topic -- I think you can use it for beginning plyometrics?
