Yeah, it was indeed Puckstop where I bought my skates. I've never used either of the people mentioned, although did chat to John from Everglides by email, and it was reassuring that the guy at Sheffield did the same insole check that John mentioned. So I'd say they're a pretty good place to get fitted.

Back to the original topic - my friend's skates are in, and I got a call today saying mine are ready, so we should hopefully be collecting them on Saturday! Woohoo! :D
