Ended up getting my skates unmodified from the pro guy and experimenting on Sno-sealing my Jackson Freestyle skates. Interestingly, the heel soaked up lots of wax. The sole seems to be pretty waxproof for now.
How do I know when it's time to Sno-seal again? When will the sole (currently with this plastic-like finish) be Sno-sealable? My skates are also on temporary mount so far. When I have them permanently mounted, do I have to sno-seal the new holes?
Thanks in advance!
