Title: Boot repair
Post by: mnrjpf99 on October 22, 2016, 06:42:16 PM
I just got a pair of Edea Ice Fly's for a super good price. One reason why, is because the Gold Seal blade are worn, but still usable and the other is the fact the the boot material, is badly damaged (just the "outer skin".
Any ideas on how the fix my Edea's? (See what I did there?) Lol
I am hoping to get them to fit better, so I can use them, but failing that, I would like to be able to maybe get a little profit off of them. Either way, I just want to fix them.

There are leather repair kits, just google them and see if any look useful. Otherwise, why not go with cleaning them up and use skate tape?

Why do anything to them?  They're glorious battle scars.  OK, so they aren't your battle scars, but no one needs to know that ;)

Although, if someone has a more sophisticated solution, I'm interested too.

They aren't leather so not sure you could use a repair kit. Might be worth asking a cobbler for suggestions. What's the inside like?

I think there is a guy in a town close to me that does shoe repair. I can ask him too.

The inside of the boots are in good shape. They were just a bit dirty is all. I will have to get them spot heat molded for my stupid wide feet though. They are a very tight fit to say the least. Lol I am not sure how the whole higher heel thing will go either. Here's hoping...
